Moroccan Argan oil has been proven to help with anti-aging because of its high level of vitamin E and antioxidants that rid the body of free radicals. It reduces wrinkles by restoring the skin’s hydro-lipid layer. Argan cools and soothes the skin of ailments like chickenpox, acne, psoriasis, eczema and even stretch marks! It’s also provides natural detoxification and UV protection!

Where Does Argan Oil Come From

The oil comes from the nuts of an Argan tree, which takes about 15 years to yield nuts! When it finally bears its nuts, the entire tree only supplies a couple liters of oil. Until recently Argan trees only grew in the southwest region of Morocco. But, an Israeli company called Sivan developed a strain of Argan that can survive in the Mediterranean climate and supposedly produce 10 times more nuts.

The Benefits Of Moroccan Argan Oil

The benefits of this rare Moroccan oil are countless! It reminds me of vinegar in the way that it’s so universal. But, besides the many healthy skin benefits, it’s good for hair and nails too. You can simply use the pure oil, or there’s great natural hair care products like Acure’s Argan Oil Shampoo, and plenty of natural cosmetics made with it too! I’m using Dark Chocolate + Mint Argan Oil Lip Balm from Acure and I love it! It tingles my lips and I feel good knowing I’m benefiting from it. I even let my little Max (he’s almost 3) use it!

To take it just a step further, the medicinal properties that have been linked to Argan Oil will shock you! Check out this infographic on the healing benefits…
